With his first installation, the #FlowerSkullCemetery in Berlin, set up overnight with 10,000 flowers, Tim Bengel once again attracted wide media attention.

Tim asks himself and the viewer "Why did(n't) I live?" and answers in 100 different forms. The cemetery in Berlin was the prelude to Tim's vision: "To give even more people access to art". The installation was meant to ask questions, polarize and stimulate reflection.

At its core it is about one's own dialogue with oneself. The reflection on one's own life. Tim encourages people to think about life and combines this in an artistic overall project.

In any case, it is again an innovative approach of this young exceptional artist. This time innovative with regard to the concept of an edition. Usually editions are published as prints in the fine arts space. However, the work in usual editions does not differ from each other. Only the indication of the edition e.g. 5/100 makes it clear which part of the edition this print represents. Tim on the other hand uses the marble stone for his edition. The different grain of the stone gives each part of the edition a unique character.
